I really enjoy doing these flower paintings. I actually entered this one into a juried show and was rejected. BUT, the juror did provide feedback and said that the flower motif is overdone and that I should go all out abstract and leave the flowers behind. I appreciated the feedback, but these are so awesome to do. The process is very meditative for me. I'll save the all out abstraction for my all out abstract paintings.
