When I first started this painting I had the idea of painting blood cells and trying to depict when they attack eachother in diseases. When my Mom was sick with Lupus they explained to me that her own body was attacking itself, and that idea stuck with me. Such violence within. When I was painting this, colorful pebbles started appearing and I went with it. I loved working on this. Instead of being a sad painting it actually turned out pretty uplifting for me. Ships Free.
