I listened to Paul Simon's "Obvious Child" on repeat while painting this. I had a person in mind when I painted it and it became a sort of meditation on them. It got to the point where if I tried to listen to other music while painting it, it wouldn't work. So now I think of this painting whenever I hear that song. They're forever connected in my brain.
